With support from GIY Ireland and Carrig Dulra, Dee was instrumental in founding and coordinating Community Gardens Ireland (formally the Community Garden Network/CGN) in the autumn of 2011. This voluntary organisation was set up to give a virtual connection for community gardeners, providing support and promotion, sharing resources, as well as learning from one another and exchanging ideas.
