Once you’ve become a Greenside Up customer the service doesn’t stop there. Dee uses social media to keep in touch and her approach to her business and customer service has been recognised over the past year by being shortlisted for several awards.
Once again, Dee was thrilled to find herself as a Finalist in the Green Awards, this time in the Green Leader category.
With thirty categories and over 2,000 entrants, Dee was delighted to make it into the Finalist list of the Blog Awards Ireland 2012, placing the Greenside Up blog among the top five in both Eco/Green and Lifestyle categories.

Along with six other finalists from Carlow in various categories, Dee was chosen to represent Carlow County Enterprise Board as a finalist for the South East Enterprise Women In Business (Professional Services B2B) Category. In collaboration with six county and city enterprise boards, the South East Women in Business Conference acknowledges the role of women in the development of enterprise in the region and Dee was thrilled to be among those recognised.
Greenside Up were overwhelmed to hear that they had been chosen as finalists in the 2011 Irish Green Awards with the ceremony held at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin. The aim of the awards is to celebrate excellence in sustainability and to encourage green best practise amongst organisations and people. This recognition of their achievements means a tremendous amount to Greenside Up and has helped them to continue to strive to help others lead more sustainable lives.
In 2011 her vegetable blog was shortlisted for the 2011 Irish Blog Awards. As a relative newcomer to blogging she wasn’t amongst the finalists in Belfast, but pleased that her work had been included in the Food and Drink Category and recognised.
